Most laser machines are good at engraving and cutting acrylic, or PMMA, Plexiglas®, & Perspex® . Acrylic is best suited for laser processings like images, signage, illuminated advertisements, sales displays, and so on. Different depths processing is very easy, laser cutting machine can handle panels up to 25 mm thick efficiently (normally higher power can do faster), without any additional post-processing preparations. Acrylic can also be marked by fiber laser marking machine to create a color change, or laser engraved for a matte finish with a CO2 laser marking machine.
